As in previous years, our family went to the annual Manila International Book Fair at the SMX Convention Center last weekend. The book fair had a five-day run (September 17 to 21), but it was not until the last day that we were able to go.
There weren’t a lot of mystery novels from my favorite bargain section of National Bookstore so I only got three books. I have novels from two book fairs ago that I still haven’t read.
She might not remember me, but I saw my former high school teacher, Ms. Raissa Rivera-Falgui at the book fair. Apparently, she’s now an author of young adult novels and children’s books — Woman in a Frame and Hating Kapatid. In hindsight I should have bought her books and had them signed.
