Warmth & the Quality of Light is about exploring and experimenting with varying degrees of light. Afterall, photography means “drawing with light”.
I’m posting this picture of the chandelier in Palacio Real (Royal Palace) in Madrid, Spain because it demonstrates warmth and exemplifies beauty in taking pictures with minimal lighting. Flash photography wasn’t allowed inside the palace so the main source of light is the subject itself. If this isn’t fit for royalty, I don’t know what is.
The also proves that you don’t need to own a DSLR camera in order to take good photos. I didn’t have one back then. I used the handy Casio EX-P700 point-and-shoot camera.
