Macro photography gives the audience a fresh perspective on subjects. It opens our eyes and minds to the details that we usually miss out on. Highlighting the details on miniature representations underscores the craftsmanship and heightens appreciation.
My macro lens (Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM Lens) was one of the first few accessories I got for my DSLR. The moment I got my hands on it, I thought the best subjects I could practice on are jewelry and small collectibles that sparkle. This test shot turns out to be a suitable post for Treasure & Close-up.
