Finally, I have come to the last Photo 101 post. Not that I’m relieved it’s over, I’m feeling a sense of accomplishment I was able to live up to the challenge and respond to the daily themes. The final theme Triumph & Contrast is a befitting conclusion to this course.
I’m starting my week on a positive note by posting this final photo for Photo 101. The Macau Tower dwarfing other structures on the skyline.
I saw this beautiful view as I was strolling at night in the streets of Macau. As I have mentioned before, I don’t own a tripod, which is a necessary tool when taking photos in low light. I took a chance and took a couple of shots while keeping my hands and arms as still as I possibly could. It could’ve been a photo of higher quality had I used a tripod, but I was able to keep it steady enough to avoid unnecessary blur making it post worthy. As the photographer, seeing it develop into a scenic masterpiece despite the odds is victory.
That’s it for Photo 101! Aside from the regular readers whom I treasure, I want to thank the new readers and followers I’ve gained through Photo 101. I am very grateful too for all the comments I’ve received about my photography. See you again!
