Yesterday, I went to see High School Musical 3 with my parents and niece, Emily and I'm taking the liberty of posting what I think of the film. With the third installment (in the big screen this time), I expected that the producers would exhaust all efforts to recover from the not-so-raved High School Musical 2. According to The Disney Blog, High School Musical 3 raked in over $42 million in its first three days of showing.
I think it's best to get to the weak points first. There's nothing much with the story line. It's all about the phase of graduating and moving on to college. When you get that kind of plot, you know right away it's a teeny-bopper flick. They tried to show conflicts and predicaments as the characters go through their crossroad, but it's pretty much predictable. It may be interesting for kids and teens. I think Emily enjoyed it, though there were moments she would ask what was going on.

I watched it narin! :) Hehehe ganda nung musical numbers noh? Favorite ko din yung Can I Have This Dance!
Nasad ako kasi last na, tapos yung last part pa parang naiiyak sila. Hehehe!

@ Frances:
Favorite ko rin yung "Can I Have This Dance." Ang ganda nung production numbers 'no? If they'll make another one or a spinoff, new characters na like yung guy with Troy's bangs and the British girl with Sharpay's attitude. :) Still, it's not the same.
