Quitting may have had a negative connotation throughout our existence because of sayings like "Quitters never win" and "Try and try until you succeed." Most of the times, we don't consider choosing our battles and knowing when to put a halt to our struggles, especially if they are becoming unhealthy or detrimental to our personal growth. "What doesn't kill us only makes us stronger" may contain an ounce of truth, but we must remember that "too much of anything can be bad."
We must take a step back and distance ourselves from the notion that if we quit, we lose. Our pride's hurt and our future's shattered.
Let me share with you a Newsweek article I found on the net that gives a new perspective on quitting.
Newsweek: Who Says Quitters Never Win? by Wray Herbert

quitters arent really losers. they are just realistic. this is the best line in the article -> "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again," he said. "Then quit. There's no point in being a damn fool about it."
thanks for sharing it.
