It's 2008 news, but I learned about it just recently from my college friend, Paula. In an e-mail she sent that was mainly to thank me for answering a survey and helping her find other people to answer it, she said it in passing that World Youth Day 2011 will be celebrated in Madrid, Spain. That got me excited! Even if I still don't know where I'm going to get the budget for the trip, I want to go!
This is another reason to push through with Spanish classes.

Thinking of going to Spain and Portugal before going back to Manila (but I think my budget disagrees). Hope it works out. That means I have to brush up on my long-forgotten Spanish. Uh-oh!
