I have to admit it wasn't one of my best trips, but I had fun nonetheless. This is probably the first time that I'll talk about "misfortunes" in my travels, but it didn't diminish my passion to go places. What led to disappointment are the expectations that I had prior departure. I was expecting it to be festive tour of the city and a lot of places to visit. Unfortunately, it didn't happen that way.
On the first day, we were scheduled to tour around Naga City, which was our landing point. I was told that a certain festival was happening so I was hoping to see parades and festivities. It turns out, it wasn't that kind of fiesta. There was only an event. There were concerts in a particular area too. For the tour, we visited two churches: Metropolitan Cathedral and Our Lady of Peñafrancia Church.
Also, I was looking forward to checking-in at CWC (Camsur Watersports Complex) without any problems. Again, we had to wait awhile before we finally settled in. I honestly didn't know what was going on. I was too tired to find out. Moreover, it rained hard on our first day! We were just lucky it didn't ruin the whole day.
The highlight of the day was wake boarding. It was more of knee boarding, actually. Since we were first-timers, we were asked to do it on our knees. It was so much fun! I really enjoyed it! It not as hard as I expected it to be.
The second day was a killer. Literally! We were very much excited to go check out the very famous Caramoan islands. It was supposed to be island hopping, but it turned out to be island "hoping." We were practically hoping to dock on the islands. The boatmen gave us the lousy excuse that it was low tide. All the time was spent traveling by boat and it made our body aches. In the end we only got to enjoy one island, Matukad beach. There were two islands, actually, but the other one was a poor attempt to appease us.
That was Camarines Sur for me. I know that circumstances got in the way, so I want to give it another chance. Problem is, I don't know when that chance is going to be.

Anyway, summer's over. Back to reality.
