Our family usually celebrates Christmas with the traditional noche buena on Christmas Eve and then have some relatives come over at our house the next day. For Christmas 2009, our parents decided to tweak celebration of Christmas a bit by flying to the island of Boracay exactly on the 25th.
I've been wanting to go on a vacation and this was the perfect answer to my prayers. Although I inevitably brought some work with me, I could still call it a vacation because most of the time I was doing R and R, which does not require internet access.
We stayed at Boracay Tropics, which is a very suitable resort hotel for us, especially that we brought along the kids in the family.

Boracay still has its magic. Although a lot has changed since I've been there more than 10 years ago, it has retained its beauty and can make any stranger feel at home and enjoy the pristine white sands, warmth of the sun, and the cool waters.
Christmas 2009 is definitely one of the best Christmases I've had.
Wow lovely photos. There a good atmosphere there, mostly at nightlife. How is your vacation, is it great?
