The Wednesday holiday was just what I needed. My week didn't start out quite right. I need an extra day within the week to help me regain momentum.
At around 8:00 pm last Monday while at work, my office mate Apang called me up to tell me that I had a flat tire. Just a few days back, it was him who experienced the same misfortune. Last Monday was apparently my turn. Upon inspection of the tire, there was an inch long screw sticking out that caused the flat tire. I don't know how this screw had gotten into my car's tire:

For the record, I know how to change tires and I was ready to do so. ;) I'm just thankful that the parking attendants helped me change tires.
Although flat tires really make me tick, I know I can't complain. I'm thankful I have a car I can use to drive from home to work, and back.

Flat tires are unavoidable. What to do when one has a flat tire while driving? One has to pull-over on the right side of the road slowly and safely. Get the car as far off the road as possible. Turn on your hazard flashers and call for assistance.

Thanks, Steering Control! These things happen... Good thing I didn't have a running flat.
