Edible Encounters Episode 1: Crunchy Beef Tacos

by Quing Obillos
I am very excited to upload my very first video on my YouTube channel and the first episode of Edible Encounters. Producing this video was very challenging. I don’t have a video crew. It’s a one-person team. And guess who that lucky individual is? ME! I didn’t realize that doing vlogs entails many things, and it can drain and stress you out if you are not prepared for it. Please be forgiving, but I’ll be open to your suggestions and comments.
Crunchy Beef Tacos
Below is the recipe for Crunchy Beef Tacos:

1/2 kg ground beef
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper

chopped lettuce
chopped tomatoes
grated/shredded cheddar
chopped onions
taco shells
oils for cooking the ground beef

Prepare the spices for the meat by combining the following in a bowl: garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Set aside for later.
Heat up a pan and grease with a little bit of oil.
Once the oil is hot, you may add the ground beef and start cooking. If you can help yourself. Let it just in the pan and don’t move it until it has started to brown.
Halfway through cooking the beef, add the spice mix and mix it well for the spices to be well incorporated.

Don’t forget to taste the beef and adjust the seasoning accordingly.

Once you are done cooking the beef, you may now assemble the tacos to your liking. There is no one rule about the order of the ingredients. It’s all a matter of personal preference.
